Exploring Light, Form, and Movement: Exhibition by Amer Bakšić

An exhibition by Amer Bakšić, full-time professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, will open on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 14:00 at the IUS Art Gallery.

The exhibition brings together works rooted in digital photography, drawing, painting, and graphic art, reflecting a long-term artistic process shaped by retrospection, light and shadow, and the dynamic interplay of form and movement. Bakšić’s work explores the transformation of photographic imagery into various visual media, drawing on years of artistic practice developed in galleries, studios, and academic environments.

This exhibition represents a culmination of that creative journey, offering visitors insight into the artist’s evolving visual language.

Amer Bakšić has exhibited extensively in Bosnia and Herzegovina and internationally. He is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the recipient of several awards for his artistic work. He lives and works in Sarajevo.
