“The World’s Saddest Animal” - REVOLUTIONIZING CINEMA: AUTHENTICITY AND ABSTRACTION IN WORK OF DAVID LYNCH By Amina Halidović

This graduation project considers to analyze the ouvre of David Lynch and then taking inspiration from his work, paying closely attention to his ways of mastering manipulation of perception, image and sound, achieving sensibility and his performance of abstract ideas.
The student wants to commend David Lynch as an artist and a filmmaker by creating her own authentic movie about relationship between mother and daughter, resembling Lynchian style and creating her own storytelling.
he movie is directed, scripted, produced by the student and she hold complete authorship over her short movie called “The World’s Saddest Animal”.
