VACD students visited Sarajevo Pop-up festival

Students of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design (VACD) accompanied by their Program Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Kenan Zekić visited the Sarajevo Pop-Up festival at the beginning of December 2015. This event was organized by students of ‘’Design’’ Program from the Academy of Fine Arts in order to generate a cultural event that will bring together many recognized international and regional artists, designers, illustrators, as well as students of the Academy. As part of the courses in program, IUS VACD students had the opportunity to listen to an interesting lecture of experienced and internationally recognized illustrator and professor of photography from Netherlands Academy of Arts. During the lecture, they also had the opportunity to witness many examples of professional design-illustration practice, ask questions and get more information about it.  In the future, VACD students will have the opportunity to visit numerous cultural events as part of their regular classes in this program - said Assoc.
