Professor Kenan Zekic won the prestigious Fulbright scholarship

Associate Professor Kenan Zekić from program Visual Arts and Communication Design, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at IUS, won a prestigious scholarship "Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program" as part of the Fulbright program of academic exchange, awarded by the US Congress and the Department of educational and cultural affairs of the US government (Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department).

The next academic year 2016/2017 Professor Zekić will academically and professionally improve his knowledge at one of the prestigious universities in the world and at one of the largest universities in the United States, Penn State (The Pennsylvania State University). A project of Professor Zekić treats the topic of education applied in the creative industries.

This is a remarkable achievement and a significant international exchange since it is the first scholarship from the Fulbright program activities which one professor from the International University of Sarajevo has won. Staying in the US will provide Professor Zekic an opportunity to exchange useful experiences, knowledge and skills in the field of education and creative industries, and once again to contribute that the quality of IUS professors  demonstrates internationally.
