VACD Graduates Exhibit Creative Graduation Projects at IUS Art Gallery

A selection of Graduation projects by students at the Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) program for the academic 2022/2023 year have been displayed at the IUS Art Gallery. Mentored by Asst. Prof. Emir Hambo, Assoc. Prof. Muhammed Yasir Göz, Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić, Asst. Prof. Branko Vekić and Asst. Prof. Roman Sulejmanpašić, young aspiring artists Faris Čaušević, Emina Ćehajić, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Admir Jusić, Emina Memija, Adna Miftari, Marija Mikulić, Zejneb Musić, Aida Prolić, Ajla Srna and Sarah Tritar, explored different ideas using various techniques, such as illustration, book design, UX/UI design, 3D design, animation, video and film.

Some of the artwork focused on beautiful and colorful illustrations which bring children’s stories to life. Another, more practical and applicable piece of art is a mobile application which facilitates the user to change from a negative into a positive mood.  One of the projects tackled the idea of creating a different and more appealing CV. Themes of witchcraft, fashion 3D printing, raising awareness of the Palestinian issue, drug addiction, superheroes and mysticism provided inspiration for the Graduate projects at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be on display from July 28 to October 11, 2023 in the IUS Art Gallery.
