VACD students visited the Art Gallery of B&H
Students of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design accompanied by VACD Program Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Kenan Zekić visited as part of the Visual Language 1 (Visual Language 1) course the Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Accompanied by the curator of the National Gallery, Ivana Udovičić, students visited the exhibition of contemporary art collections Farnesina, which had more than 50 works from the Collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, including masterpieces by artists such as Pistoletto, Kounellis, Burri, Fontana, Manzoni and Capogrossi. The exhibition collection is titled ''Farnesina 20 years of Dayton and a tribute to the victims of terrorism''. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to listen to lecture of the curator Udovičić and learn more about the collection and ask specifically related questions to artistic works. ‘’In the future, we will continue with these visits and I hope that the students will be able to acquire concrete and practical knowledge during their studies in VACD program’’ - said Assoc. Prof. Kenan Zekić.
